Today in class I walked in and sat down at the desk I sat down yesterday. We watched a compelling story about children from different countries. They all have difficulties going to school everyday and I was interested in the obstacles they face. For example the child from africa has to skillfully move around elephants with his brother every morning to go to school.

Today in class I had to attend a meeting with my teacher. I had to go to my photogeaphy classroom with my mom and have a meeting with Ms.Slappey. During the meeting we went over my absences and missing work. I feel that the meeting was beneficial and important.

Today in class I focused on working on my missing assignments. I feel like I had caught a bad case of senioritis earlier in the year and realized my actions had consequences. I am attempting to clutch up in all of my classes with bad grades. I hope I can because I dont want to become a super senior.

Today in class we focused on vocabulary work. We copied the definitions onto separate pieces of paper and it helped me understand the words. Aside from the vocabulary work we did 2 excercises. For me class was fun today because I had bought a new gum flavor of lime.

In class today my head hurt. I had to put my head down and lay with pillows and also take medicine. this medicine not only causes me to be tired it also causes me to be confused almost in a daze. While I was in this daze like state i rested my head and went to bed.

In class we watched the brilliant ted talk discussing the dangers of a single story. I have seen this ted talk before but this 3rd viewing really let me understand the meaning. I too myself have had single stories of groups of people and then assigned that onto the indivudual. This practice is extremely dangerous and harmful and we should always be cautious.

Today in class we continued to focus on our careers as we researched further. I learned more about my 2nd reccomenned career the disk jockey. At first all I thought the career was is DJing at partys. But this can not be further from the truth as disk jockeys can recieve work in many places including the radio.
