In class we watched the brilliant ted talk discussing the dangers of a single story. I have seen this ted talk before but this 3rd viewing really let me understand the meaning. I too myself have had single stories of groups of people and then assigned that onto the indivudual. This practice is extremely dangerous and harmful and we should always be cautious.
